Description
The Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 detects conductive liquids which is making it ideal for monitoring leakage and moisture content and to prevent or minimize water damages.
The main applications are in the building and climate technology.
Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 can be used together with
Water Detection Tape WDT .
Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 can also be used as stand alone.
The measuring procedure via electrolytic AC voltage allows the Water Leakage Detectors WLD 24 to detect various kinds of conductive liquids.
With the passive potentiometer the circuit sensitivity can be adjusted optimally to the required field of application.
Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 have relay output.
The relay output for Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 provides an alarm signal for connection to a BMS controller or remote alarm annunciation panel.
The setting of the relay is manually adjustable via a DIP-Switch, designed as an inherent part of Water Leakage Detectors WLD 24.
Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 can be mounted direct on floor
to sense water and moisture with the electrode extensions (the sensing parts) under the unit or mounted on the wall with the external Water Detection Tape WDT.
Power supply for Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 is 12-24 Vac/dc.
The Water Detection Tape WDT is made of texturizedstockinet-knitted polyester in which parallel uninsulated wires of soft annealed copper are woven.
The Water Detection Tape WDT indicating the presence of moisture or water/liquid between the wires.
The Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 is tested by placing a wet finger on the electrode extensions (the sensing parts) under the unit.
Testing of the Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 together with the Water Detection Tape WDT is made by placing a wet finger at the end of the wires of the Water Detection Tape WDT.
The LED in the cover (lid) on Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 will light when the relay output will be activated.
Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 senses the change in conductivity when moisture or water is in contact with the electrode extensions (the sensing parts) under the unit and when moisture or water is in contact with the external Water Detection Tape WDT.
When moisture or water disappear, the Water Leakage Detector WLD 24 will be reset by automatic.
